Sizing Methods

Three ways to
measure.

Use whichever fits your situation. All three are equally accurate when done carefully.

Tape
Measure

Wrap a flexible tape measure around the base of the shaft. Divide circumference by 3.14 to get inner diameter, then match to a VOWCRAFT size.

  1. Wrap a flexible tape measure (or a strip of paper or string) around the base of the shaft — the point where the ring will sit.
  2. For base-only wear: wrap around the shaft at its thickest point. For full-sacral wear: wrap behind the shaft and testicles.
  3. Note the measurement in millimetres — this is your circumference.
  4. Divide your circumference by 3.14 to get your inner diameter. Example: 138mm ÷ 3.14 = 43.9mm → closest VOWCRAFT size is 44mm.
  5. Find your diameter in the VOWCRAFT size chart below. When between sizes, size up — a ring that's too tight is unsafe.

Tip: Measure multiple times at different points along the base. Use the largest measurement. Measure while slightly aroused — the base expands with blood flow.

Paper
Strip Method

No tape measure? Use a strip of paper or a piece of string to find your circumference, then convert to VOWCRAFT inner diameter.

  1. Cut a strip of paper approximately 15cm long and 5mm wide. A piece of string works equally well.
  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of the shaft — where the ring will sit. For base-only wear: shaft base. For full-sacral wear: behind the shaft and testicles.
  3. Mark the overlap point with a pen, or pinch the crossing point if using string.
  4. Lay the strip flat against a ruler. Measure the length in millimetres — this is your circumference.
  5. Divide your circumference by 3.14. Example: 157mm ÷ 3.14 = 50.0mm → select VOWCRAFT 52mm for a comfortable fit.
  6. Cross-reference using the VOWCRAFT size chart below.

Tip: Repeat three times. Use your largest measurement. Do not measure from an existing finger ring — cock rings and wedding bands use completely different sizing systems.

Measure an
Existing Ring

If you already wear a cock ring that fits well, measure its inner diameter directly with a ruler or callipers.

  1. Place the ring on a flat surface, face up.
  2. Measure the inner diameter — inside edge to inside edge — in millimetres. A digital calliper is ideal; a standard ruler works too.
  3. Compare your diameter to the VOWCRAFT size chart below. Select the nearest match.
  4. If your existing ring falls between two VOWCRAFT sizes, size up for comfort and safety.

Warning: Do not use a finger ring to size for a cock ring. Finger rings and cock rings use completely different sizing conventions. Cock ring sizing is based on inner diameter in millimetres — nothing else.

VOWCRAFT rings are worn around both the penis and the scrotum. Measure your body at the point of wear with a flexible tape, string, or paper strip — that gives you a circumference. Match that circumference to the "Circumference at Point of Wear" column below, then check the corresponding "Inner Diameter (ID)" to find your VOWCRAFT size.

"Circumference at Point of Wear" is your body measurement — taken with a tape or string wrapped around the anatomical point of wear. "Inner Diameter (ID)" is the product specification. These are different measurements: you measure your body as a circumference, then match it to the corresponding inner diameter of the ring.

Most men fall within the 44–52mm range. When between sizes, size up — a ring that is too tight can restrict blood flow. Remove immediately if you experience numbness, coldness, or colour change.

Fit Guidance

Getting the
right fit.

A cock ring should be snug — firm enough to maintain pressure, loose enough to remove without difficulty. Follow these guidelines to avoid discomfort or injury.

Start with 48mm
Most men · Midpoint

If you've never worn a cock ring before and don't know your size, 48mm is the safest starting point. The majority of men fall within the 44–52mm range — 48mm is the midpoint of that band.

When in doubt, size up. A ring that's too tight can restrict blood flow and cause numbness or coldness. Always remove immediately if you experience these symptoms.
Measure for arousal
Not flaccid · Full state

Measure with the penis in or near its erect state — the base circumference expands with blood flow. Measuring while flaccid may result in a ring that fits too loosely when worn during use.

If you measure at 138mm, you likely fall in the 44–48mm range. If 155mm, 48–52mm. Use the size chart above to confirm your exact fit range.
Wearing styles
Base only · Full sacral

Base-only wear places the ring around the shaft only — the most common approach, offering targeted pressure. Full sacral wear wraps behind the shaft and testicles for a different sensation and fuller coverage. Measure for your intended style.

Full sacral wear typically requires a slightly larger size than base-only — if you're between two sizes and plan to use both styles, start with the larger size for sacral wear.
